Month over month increases in market share and sales –  that’s what we deliver to Grant Johnson, President and COO of Swiss Medica, after he asked us to design, brand and market his new bioscience product – O24 – a patented, all-natural pain relief formula. 

In its first incarnation, O24 was a hit at the Winter Olympics. World class athletes used it to help ready them for the grueling games. 

Our strategic focus was to tap into the winning spirit of chronic pain sufferers.  We did so with Nike-like precision. The marketing campaign featured print and radio ads in doctor’s offices and an intense Chain Drug Store shopper marketing program – experiential and sampling at retail.

Under our watch the product was launched in 200 doors in Shoppers Drug Mart, and as a testament to our efforts, an additional 200 doors were included 6 months later.

The design was an interesting challenge as we wanted to stay “on-code” for topical analgesics, but also wanted to push to envelop to capture the true tone and voice.

Our research team spent quite a bit of time with retail buyers and pain relief users which informed our award winning design. Highlights included: negotiating an appearance of former heavyweight boxing champ Larry Holmes at our booth at the NACDS Marketplace.
